Craig – How did you decide to have a hair transplant?

March 16, 2009

http://nhiclinics.com/Video/craig01.flv

My name is Craig. I come from Glasgow in Scotland.

I’m a territory manager for the Shell Oil Company, I’ve worked for shell for the past 10 years.

I came over to Athens for a second hair transplant procedure after having a transplant with NHI back in May of 2005.

I had strip surgery done in 2005 to replace some hair in my frontal temples and around the front where I had suffered a degree of hair loss.

I managed to get that under control through using Finistrate and subsequently after that jutastirite which really stopped and halted my hair loss but didn’t encourage any regrowth, and after doing quite a bit of research on the Internet I came across NHI and subsequently applied for more information had a follow up phone call with Malcolm Mendelsohn, chairman of NHI and subsequently then met some patients, some former patients of NHI to have a look at their results.

Clive Dean’s Poetic Written Testimonial

March 14, 2009

“In the beginning” there was the plug. And man saw this
was good. And indeed it was “good”, for its time. Man
had some coverage of their baldness for the first time.
The results for the individual patients however remained
as a testament to its crudeness; a cobbling effect which
clearly indicated that they had had some sort of cosmetic
procedure. This obviously militated against the reason for
having the procedure in the first place; although not being
seen as bald but now being seen as having an obvious
cosmetic procedure. Hence patients contention that they
would rather be bald and at least look natural than
wanting to look like they had been shot in the head
with a shotgun at close range!!
As hair technology advanced so did the tools used on Hair
Restoration. The “micro surgery” technique was developed.
Without going into technical and minor details, suffice to
say that this was a vast improvement on the plug method
but it still had its drawback. Lack of density and the need
for multiple sessions over a long period of time were some
of the considerations. The lack of a presentable and ”
natural looking” hairline was another significant drawback.
The effects were similar to that of the plug method -
An unnatural and obvious cosmetic procedure. Obvious to
state that the benefits for the patients (converge) were
countered/negated by the fact that one looked like they
had a cosmetic procedure – Unnatural and obvious.
Then came the Choi. The saviour of the world! (in Hair
circles anyway). A precise tool. The cutting edge of
technology! The use of this device, in the right hands
could lead to some remarkably natural looking results,
which blended into existing areas to give a totally
natural overall result.
Now we come to the crux of the matter. Notice, in
relation to the Choi I said “in the right hands’. There
was an important reason for this as I will explain.
The Choi is a device, a tool. It is adjunct to therapy and
not the therapy itself. Give an ordinary child some paints
and canvas and he will give you a rather nice
interpretation of “art”. Give the same materials to an
accomplished artist and he will give you a masterpiece.
So is the same for the usage of the Choi. A tool whose
expression and potential lies in the hands of the
practitioner. And as we know in art, both expression,
result and technical expertise vary greatly. In Cosmetic
surgery the same rule is true. Results vary greatly
depending on the surgeon himself, even though they
use the same device.
Let me now proudly introduce to you the “National
Portrait Gallery” of Hair Restoration in the form of Choi
Hair Restoration Clinics and Fotis Tunis, the Leonardo De
Vinci of our time.
Let me begin with Fotis Tunis, the master genius.
Without prejudice and with integrity, I have seen many
surgeons work using this Choi device. But I have seen the
device used in the hands of such a master. And his results
are FANTASTIC. A true piece of workmanship, a
masterpiece to behold.
How did Fotis and his assistant protégé, Maria, arrive at
this point? The reason for this is simple. Fotis Tunis and
Maria have worked for many years developing this one
skill and given their obvious talent and passion for
what they do; the mastery of the use of the Choi in
Hair Transplantation and the consequence is excellence
of results.
I have no hesitation in stating as a fact that they are the
best proponents of this device in terms of artistry and
expertise and I can categorically state that they are “The
Best of the Best in their profession – True Masters – The
Leonardo De Vinci of their profession. Working swiftly
but precisely, the time taken to complete a “masterpiece”
procedure is halved. Thus not only do you get fantastic
results you will also not suffer swelling oedema or
complications as a consequence of the unnecessary time
spent hesitating as other Surgeons do because of their lack
of expertise experience.
You can see the Master at work in the video (and me
having the procedure) and see his creative works in the
form of Patient Consultants who have had his procedure.
You can also read the numerous testimonials or talk to
patients who have had the benefit of his procedure.
To make Hair Restoration a complete and positive
experience, Choi Hair Restoration Clinics has teamed up
with Fotis Tunis unlike a “revolving door” service that you
will get with any other clinic, we at Choi Hair
Restoration Clinics work devotedly to ensure you get
The Very Best of the Best service!!

Clive Dean’s Video Tribute to NHI Clinics

Malcolm Mendelsohn Introduces Clive Dean

March 14, 2009

Want to know who the best people are for hair restoration surgery?

Offering specialised technology and ‘Choi Implanter ‘know-how’?

Easy! Just ask one of our competitors!

Clive Dean had his third and final Choi procedure with our surgeon, Dr. Tsounis, toward the end of a long association with my company (NHI Hair Clinics) as a ‘patient counsellor’.

Clive had already had two previous Choi procedures with NHI’s former surgeon, whom he now represents.

However, before leaving NHI, Clive left us with somewhat of a legacy. A written testimonial as a tribute to his final procedure with Dr. Tsounis. A tribute which can only be described as ‘Poetic’ in its content.

Added to this, Clive Dean left behind another tribute to NHI’s services, on film. His almost euphoric accounts of his final Choi procedure with our surgeon, Dr. Tsounis.

“No swelling”, “No pain”, “No nerves” and “Less time” he gasped in almost disbelief? As if questioning why he hadn’t experienced any of the inconvenience he’d endured with both of his previous procedures? Then it’s little wonder that Clive didn’t suffer nerves this time.

He knew from seeing evidence of so many of our patients that he wouldn’t have to face the (almost mandatory) swelling he’d endure pre- Dr. Tsounis and his team. Nor would he face a 6 hour plus ‘epic’ due to a combination of slow operating and coffee breaks for a procedure which takes our team about 4 hours.

So there we have it. Clive no longer has the services of NHI or Dr. Tsounis to offer.

Which leaves him in the unenviable position of having to persuade people to use the services of another clinic that he knows – FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE – can only be 2nd best.

Malcolm Mendelsohn.

Ian – Any advice for the person considering a hair transplant?

Do it!

Ian – Do you regret having a hair transplant?

March 14, 2009

http://nhiclinics.com/ian/ian09.flv
All the agonizing I had over making the decision to have a hair transplant.

It’s surprising that people, although they accept that cars, computers have moved on since the 1970s, nobody has mentioned the fact that hair transplant technology has moved on just the same

The only advice that I would give you is don’t wait, just do it.

The change to your personality, your self esteem and self confidence is worth any amount of money.

The money I’ve spent on my hair transplant i could have used to swap my car, which would by now be worthless.

I have made an investment that will last a lifetime and i am really pleased.
