Ian – Do hair transplants really work?

Just recently the NHI have introduced a guarantee which guarantees 100% of the hairs implanted in your head will stay there or they will replace them at their expense.
It’s probably irrelevant because all the hairs will stay in your head.
Ian – How does the NHI package compare to others?

If you compare the NHI package to similar proceedures in the UK, in my opnion, there is no comparison.
The volume of hair they can give you in such a short, in one proceedure, you just wouldn’t do three proceedures to get the same volume hair.
There is no question that NHI is the only option, sensible option to take.
Ian – What are the after effects?
March 13, 2009
I’ve just had the final proceedure two days ago and as you can see you can’t see any swelling. I’m in no pain. It couldn’t be simpler
Most of the hair that they put in on the last procceedure has actually gone in on the crown so you can’t actually see it by looking at me now.
If I put my hand on top of my head all I can feel is like a nail brush where all the hairs, which they actually cut to a quarter inch in length, to make it easier to pop them in, are sticking up just nicely and I can’t wait until the six months when there will be a flourishing flow of hair and I will be back to looking like i did when i was twenty-one.
Ian – What are the hair transplant options?
March 11, 2009
When I had my initial consultation, they discussed how much hair, the end outcome, that I wanted to achieve.
And I actually wanted to go almost back to being a teenager again.
They did advise me that two big proceedures would do it, but it would be possible to have it done in 3 smaller proceedures which would be more gradual.
Which I actually took. Looking back it was the wrong option. Two proceedures would have been have been better and less expensive.
Ian – Did you have any fears about a hair transplant?
March 11, 2009
The first procedure I had done, I was very concerend that I didn’t want anybody back home to know I’d had it done. So although they told me it would be quite acceptable to return home within five days I actually booked two weeks so to be absolutely sure there would be no sign of it being seen.
Having been ribbed for being bald for the last fifteen years, i certainly didnt want risk being ribbed of having something done about it.
So, that gave me an opportunity to see a lot of clients that come through the surgery in the two weeks I was actually here and that opened my eyes.
I saw a lot of people that had slit surgery in the UK and I was surprised how much money they had paid for such poor results. Conversely, they were surprised how little I’d paid for so much hair, and it was a shock.
Ian – Did the NHI experience live up to your expectations?
March 10, 2009
I didn’t really have any expectations of what was about to happen when I arrived at Athens other than the fact I was going to have the procedure.
But I can say now that they take care of absolutely every part and you are not left with any problems.
You are looked after from the minute you step off the plane, during the proceedure, after the proceedure, and the after care even after you got home, they look after you from start to finish.
It was smashing.
Ian – What was your first impression of NHI?
March 8, 2009
From the minute I phoned NHI I was surprised by how informal they were, but how genuine and honest they felt.
I made an appointment to see their specialist in Manchester and was seen within a day.
And I actually looked, and he had had two proceedures and I couldn’t believe that hair transplants were so good…
I couldnt’ believe he’d actually had it it done, it looked so natural so it wasn’t much of a leap of faith to actually book with NHI.
Ian – Why did you consider having a hair transplant?

Why did you Consider having a hair Transplant?
Hello my name is Ian and I am 48 years old and I come from Manchester in the UK.
I just happened to be here this weekend while they were filming the video.
I actually started to go bald in my early to late 20s.
And by the time I was 40 I’d virtually very little hair left across the top of my head.
If you have ever been bald, and I suppose if you are watching this video you will have experienced problems its quite difficult to style a head of hair when you only have a little bit at the front.
And it was one Friday night in early 2005 and I was going to a party. I’d spent hours trying to get a little bit of hair flat ont eh top of my head without it looking like it been stuck there with vasaline or stuck up like it been electrocuted.
And I was so fed up I decided I just wouldn’t go. My self confidence was so low I decided I wouldn’t go out at all.
And it just happened to be that weekend that I saw NHI’s advert in the Daily Express. I just felt that it couldn’t get any worse. I’d nothing to lose. So I gave them a phone call.
